We are proud to announce that our S. 6 students have continued to uphold the tradition of academic excellence at Queen¡¦s College by achieving outstanding results in the 2014 HKDSE.
With 186 students at Queen¡¦s College sitting the HKDSE in 2014, 648 grades of 5 or above were awarded to our students, of which 120 were 5**s.
With these results, many of our students were given offers of highly competitive courses at prestigious institutions locally and overseas such as the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine, Tsinghua University and the University of Cambridge. 19 of our S. 6 graduates have been admitted to medicine and pharmacy programmes at the University of Hong Kong and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
6B MA Kwok-ming, who attained seven 5** grades, has been awarded the Springboard Scholarship and has been admitted to study medicine at the University of Hong Kong. 6B CHEUNG Sum-lik, who attained six 5** grades and one 5* grade, has also been admitted to study medicine at the University of Hong Kong. 6D CHEUNG Ka-lam was honoured to receive an offer of a Prince Philip Scholarship in order to study at Cambridge. He has reluctantly declined this offer as he wished to stay in Hong Kong to pursue his goal of becoming a medical doctor, and has accepted an offer to study medicine at the University of Hong Kong. 6B CHENG Ho-ching Justin received offers from both the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Southern California, and has accepted a place at the latter institution.
